Our approach to wedding filmmaking…
For us, telling your story is the best way to slow down the blur. You two have a unique story. Your wedding will be a unique event. That’s why with every couple we are blessed to work with we try to tell your story in the best and most creative way possible that truly encapsulates your relationship. Our hope is your film becomes an heirloom you can pass down to the next generation.
We also want every film to feel unapologetically you. We achieve this by getting to know you! Through meetings prior to your wedding and a questionnaire, we try to understand exactly what you’re hoping for in your film so we know what to capture before the day arrives.

So who is 6th Day?
We are Jared and Sarah Ensminger, the husband and wife team behind the cameras at 6th Day Films!
On any given night, you can usually find us eating Chick-fil-a or Chipotle, watching The Office or Modern Family (although lately it’s been a lot of “Little Einsteins”), and hanging out with our kiddos Brooks and Olivia! If you’re into the enneagram, Jared’s a “1” and Sarah’s a “7”…so he’s a perfectionist and she brings the party wherever she goes! We love traveling, making memories and telling heartfelt stories!

We promise to go above and beyond for you. A desire to serve couples well is the heartbeat behind what we do. We strive to help the day feel as stress free and FUN as possible!
We do our best to get to know you as a couple so that we can best tell your story. We want to know about what makes you work so well as a couple, what you love about each other and what’s important to you in a wedding film. This film is ABOUT you and FOR you. Your input and preferences are vital to make that happen.
We will communicate openly and kindly with the other vendors on your day. Every wedding day is like joining a new team, a team with the singular purpose of creating the best experience for the couple. Your day is about so much more than a video. We do our best to make sure every vendor is able to do their job to the best of their abilities.
We always do our best to give you the film you’ve been dreaming of. Every film is hand crafted with each specific couple in mind. If you watch our films, there is no magic formula or cookie cutter copies. We take the time necessary to create a film that is specifically you.
We want you to feel comfortable and authentic on camera. Every couple is different and has different comfort levels in front of the camera. We do everything we can to help you feel confident, comfortable and authentically you on camera. For some couples, this might be telling jokes just to get you to laugh, for others this might look like taking a step back and letting you have a moment without a camera in your face. We will never put you in a position to feel embarrassed and promise to film you in a way that feels most comfortable.
We work with your photographer and/or planner to problem solve for you. Whether it’s a weather related issue, timing, scheduling, or something entirely different, every wedding has a moment or two where you need people you can trust to problem solve for you. With 100+ weddings under our belt, we’ve (almost) seen it all. We are always happy to provide solutions for any issues that might arise on the day.
